Interest in the Alzheimer’s Germ Quest $1 Million Challenge Award continues to gain momentum. Here is an update of our progress:
In late April, the team met with Dr. Paul Auwaerter and Dr. Cynthia Sears, at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, division of infectious diseases, in Baltimore. Dr. Auwaerter is president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and Dr. Sears is its president-elect.
Dr. Paul Auwaerter (l) President of the Infectious Diseases Society of America; and Dr. Cynthia Sears, President-elect of the Society chat with Dr. Leslie Norins, CEO of Alzheimer’s Germ Quest.
The team visited Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital.
