Dr. Leslie Norins, CEO, and Rainey Norins, VP, of Alzheimer’s Germ Quest visited the Boston area in early May to meet with two important groups.
First, at the independent Cure Alzheimer’s Fund offices they conferred with Tim Armour, President and CEO, and his staff, about the scope of pertinent research projects being sponsored.
Then, they met with Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a leader in research on amyloid and inflammation, to learn of exciting new developments in his team’s investigations. Possible microbial triggers are one of the topics being studied.
